Year 1 Kaarakin Wildlife Incursion

Our Year 1 students had an amazing opportunity to reinforce what they have learned about red-tailed black cockatoos throughout the term.

They met Princess Rex, a rehabilitated cockatoo from Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre, and Sam, an educator who teaches people all about these majestic birds.

The children eagerly shared their knowledge and asked questions, making it a very informative and enjoyable morning. This incursion is a memorable highlight of our many wonderful Year 1 experiences.
