Elite Basketball Tournament 2024
Our Secondary students had an incredible time at the Annual Elite Basketball Tournament!
Over two weeks, our teams showcased resilience, sportsmanship, and skill.
Year 7/8 Tournament
Our teams represented Providence with pride in the Second Division! The girls team, coached by Mr Tjong, played four games and gained valuable experience. The Year 8 boys, led by Coach Marty, won the Second Division Grand Final for the third time in seven years, with standout skill noted by other teams. The Year 7 boys, coached by Mr Kingsford, narrowly missed the finals by just 10 points after an exciting round.
Year 9/10 Tournament
Our First Division boys team secured a win and competed with great spirit under Coach Marty Zeller. The girls team and Second Division boys team put in strong efforts, facing tough competition with determination.
A special shoutout to Keith K for winning the Second Division Boys MVP, and a heartfelt thank you to all parents who supported.
