A Wild Day with Aussie Animals

As part of our “Australiana” learning, our Kindy students got up close and cuddly with various native Australian animals, including a koala, bob-tailed lizard, sugar glider and pythons!

The children learned about each animal’s habitat, diet, behaviours, adaptations to survive in the wild, interesting features, and what to do if we see a snake! Some brave students even wore a python like a scarf!

We wrapped up the day thanking God for these unique creatures and His beautiful creation.
