Providence Athlete Named U16 Australian Youth Women’s Baseball Champion
After earning selection through a series of trials, Summer and her WA teammates went undefeated throughout the tournament, claiming the Gold Medal and becoming Australian Champions!
A highlight of the championship for Summer was pitching in the Gold Medal final, contributing to an incredible tournament for the team.
The team also had the opportunity to meet United States Consul General in Perth, Erika Olson, where they shared their championship journey and presented her with a baseball signed by the entire squad.
Reflecting on the experience, Summer shared:
I give all glory to God for this amazing opportunity. I am so grateful to have represented WA, made lifelong friendships, and created memories I'll never forget.
