Year 4 Camp – School Sleep Over

On Thursday, the Year Four students’ had their first sleepover camp. The Students participated in round-robin activities afternoon before eating dinner, playing some night games, roasting some marshmallows and heading to sleep in the classrooms. The students were spread out over four classrooms and, for the most part, slept well. On Friday morning, we were prepared a breakfast of bacon and eggs thanks to Thornlie Church of Christ. Following a great devotion from Ps Renier van der Klashorst,  Scripture Union came in to run some activities. That was followed by a delicious ham and salad roll for lunch, and it was fair to say we were all rather tired. We retreated to the classes to watch a movie until the hometime bell. All in all, it was a great camp! We would like to thank all Mrs Evans (Our Student Development Coordinator), Mr Wicks, Mrs Tyler and Mrs Baverstock (Year 4 Teachers and EA) and the parent volunteers that helped across the camp to make it run smoothly. I am sure it will be an excellent memory for the students.
