Principal’s Address
Dear Parents and Friends of Providence
Last week it was brought to my attention by Jo van der Merwe in our Uniform Shop that we are beginning to run out of some sizes in our blue Middle School shirts.
Jo raised a discussion point from a Uniform Committee meeting some time ago, (pre-name-change) that we should consider simplifying our uniform and reducing the uniform expense for our families by having a white shirt from Year 7 to Year 12 instead of the current two shirt system. (Blue in Middle School and White in Senior School)
With the transition to our newly badged uniforms taking place over the next two years, it seemed like a good idea to revisit this suggestion now, before ordering new blue shirts with the new logo.
After some discussion, the Uniform Committee agreed that the Middle School blue shirts will be phased out from now on. As students grow out of their blue shirts, they can be replaced with white shirts.
I trust that this change will provide you with an increase in both savings and convenience.

Primary School
Hi All,
The end of the year is rapidly approaching, and we are looking forward to all the events that it brings. As we finalise staffing for 2021, we will keep you informed. We are busy working away at finalising results and writing reports to share with you. We have updated our report format, and we look forward to sending it out to you at the end of the term. I know our students’ have been busily working on their Christmas Concert, and it is such a great community event. I hope to see you all there with your picnic rugs.
Secondary School
We are now heading towards the end of another year. The last fortnight has been yet another very busy one. I invite you to read on and see what has been happening in the Secondary School.
